Before each lesson, I ask each student what they would like to cover as ultimately, the student knows their strengths and weaknesses best. I use this info to gather material on the said topic such as videos, example questions, and questions for the student to answer. I structure my lessons in a way that helps maximise the information taken in by my students. I begin by allowing the student to explain how knowledgeable they are on the topic then proceed to either show a video or written information on the subject.
