I am Shafaque Naz ,a passionate Language Instructor at Domino Language Centre with a background in Mathematics and Education. I completed my Bachelors in Mathematics from Dawood University and I am currently pursuing my Masters. I have also trained in English Language and Entrepreneurship at IBA, and I regularly take part in seminars, workshops, and online tuitions to keep learning.
Beyond teaching, I founded SFI – Society for Innovators at Dawood University to support students in startups and creative problem-solving. I believe learning works best when it’s engaging, practical, and confidence-building. At Domino, my goal is to help every student improve their communication skills while building the confidence to use English in real life.
About my sessions
Before each lesson, I ask each student what they would like to cover as ultimately, the student knows their strengths and weaknesses best. I use this info to gather material on the said topic such as videos, example questions, and questions for the student to answer. I structure my lessons in a way that helps maximise the information taken in by my students. I begin by allowing the student to explain how knowledgeable they are on the topic then proceed to either show a video or written information on the subject.
